Everyone has happy childhood memories, and I have many as well. Today, I want to talk about one of my favorite memories, which is celebrating the New Year with my family. When I was a child, this whole day was magical for me. A week before New Year, we always decorated our house. We had a small New Year tree in our room. I loved making my own paper toys, colorful rings, and stars to hang on it. Like most children, I believed in Santa Claus. In my country, he is called Corvovo. On New Year's Eve, I sat by the window and wrote a long letter to him. I wrote down all my wishes and asked for a nice gift. Then I put the letter on the window and went to sleep. The next morning, I always found wonderful gifts near my pillow. My parents put them there, but I truly believed that they were from Santa Claus. This beautiful memory is still fresh in my mind because it takes me back to the warm and happy days of my childhood.
