History is very important to understand the culture, tradition and beliefs of a country. So here I am going to describe a historical period that I would like to know more about. Actually when I was in 8th grade, I read about the incidents of 15th ofust 1947. So what I learned that was on that day our India got independence from british and lot of people sacrifice their life and moreover are mara um martyials sacrificed their life for the well being of a country. On this day the Pakistan was separated from the Pakistan India partition was happened. And during that partition some people were uh. Came back to, some people were safe and some were become freey and lost their uh. Lives. So I want to know more about this incident because it is not enough written in that book. So what? So I talked to my grandmother about this and uh. She explained me everything because she had gone through that time uh. As she knows very well than that written in the book. Um. So I think that I can know about more about why this incident took place and moreover uh. How our uh. In indian people were uh. Living their life under the control of british people. Uh. From some extent I came to know that uh. During that period the Britishers were forced to grow cash crops for them as they can earn surplus amount of money instead of growing food crops which will help in survival of the people. So uh. Also Britisherss set up industries in the backyard and they force the indian people to do uh. The work there. This historical period, I would like to explore more about it. About it uh. Uh. About what the life was before the uh. Independence and then after the independence, how it will improve.

I've learned that during this period, the British forced Indians to grow cash crops for their own profit, neglecting the production of food crops essential for the survival of the people. The British also established industries and compelled Indians to work in them. This historical period fascinates me, and I want to explore it further. I'm particularly interested in learning about life before independence and how it improved after India gained its freedom.
