A visual novel is a type of video game that focuses on the story line, where you read dialogues, make choices and follow different story lines. I enjoy them because they feel like reading an interactive book. I got into this hobby after watching several videos on tech talk. Many people were recommending interesting visual novels and sharing emotional and funny scenes from the games. Those videos made me curious so I decided to try one for myself. After finishing my visual novel, my first visual novel, I really enjoyed the experience. I wanted to play more. Nowadays I usually play these round novels 3 or 4 times in a week, mostly in the evening after I finish my work or studies or my homework. I don’t play for many hours at a time, but I enjoy spending one or two our relaxing and following the story. What I like the most is that every choice can change the ending. So each play that feels different. I also like getting to know the characters and seeing how the history develops. I think this hobby has helped me improve my English because I read a lot of dialogues and at the same time it helps me relax after a busy day. That’s why I think I’ll continue enjoy visual novels for a long time because I think that is the way that I relax myself. I chill out a lot when I play my visual novels because it’s interesting and I feel like it’s the characters are real, like if you are talking with a real person and I think that’s really good and interesting and I enjoy to play it.
