Honestly, I couldn't even imagine when I learned a second language because it was really a long time ago. But I think that I could tell about the Polish language. So I'd like to start with the fact that I started to learn it when I was 12 years old in my previous school. Our class teacher decided to give us permission to choose what class we could take. I had only two options: German classes and Polish language classes. Of course, I chose Polish because at that time I thought that I would immigrate to Poland, and this might help me. I think that was the main reason why I chose it. On top of that, I can say that the Polish language is really hard. The first problem I personally struggle with is pronouncing some words and the grammar rules, especially the difficult grammar. It was really hard for me, but I managed to learn it.
