Firstly, I am a trilingualist. I can speak Hindi, Punjabi, and English as well. I am fluent in all three languages, but I still wanted to learn a new language. For a while now, I have been obsessed with Europe, especially countries like France and Italy. So, one day I decided to learn French. I am determined that one day I will definitely visit Paris. I thought, why not get the ball rolling and start to learn French? To start my course, I installed an app, the most popular app for language learning that my friend recommended to me. It was the best app I’ve ever seen. It was one of the most useful apps, and it was pretty easy to use. It provided a beginner-friendly environment, and there were more than 30 languages available. When I first started the French course, I found it quite difficult to pronounce words, as French people have different ways of pronouncing things. However, with some time, I learned some basic words and greetings such as bonjour, which means hello, bon appétit, which means enjoy your meal, and enchanté. These were a few words that could keep the conversation going. After a while, I watched a movie called Emily in Paris, and while watching it, I was able to recognize some words. I was on cloud nine with such minor achievements. I was able to understand a few words, and I was so proud of myself that day. I decided that I should learn even more French so that I can be proficient in it. What's the harm in learning another language and gaining more knowledge? Even today, I have learned the French language, and I know much more than I did before. For some time, I dropped the idea of learning French as I was quite busy with my exams. However, now I have the time, so I do learn French, and I hope to become a French expert in the future and visit Paris one day. This is all about my journey.
