Okay, so today I would like to talk about a meaningful conversation that I had with my mother last year. It happened late at night in our living room after I had finished studying for my final exams. The house was really quiet, and everything felt extremely calm, like the world had pressed the mute button for a while. At that time, I was under a lot of pressure because I was worrying about my future, my grades, and whether I was good enough to achieve my goals. I had been keeping those thoughts bottled up for months because I didn't want to seem weak or dramatic in front of my family and friends. That night, my mom noticed that I looked exhausted and stressed, so she sat down and started talking to me. Our conversation was mainly about expectations and personal growth. I told her that I was afraid of disappointing people and that I often compared myself to others. Instead of criticizing me, she shared her stories about her own struggles when she was younger. She said that life is not a race and that everyone moves at their own pace. What I appreciated most was that she listened carefully instead of just giving me a boring lecture. Her words felt like someone untied the giant knot inside my head. She also told me something I still remember today: that success means nothing if you lose yourself while chasing it. Since then, I have tried to focus more on improving myself instead of constantly competing with others. This conversation was extremely meaningful to me because it changed the way I looked at failure and pressure. Before that, I believed I always had to be perfect. Afterwards, I realized that making mistakes is a normal part of growing up. It also strengthened my relationship with my mother because I understood that I could talk to her. I'm sorry, I'm not a good speaker.
