One of the most memorable holidays I have ever had was a trip to Summer Camp last spring, an event there with my parents and my younger brother during the school break. We had been planning the trip for months because we wanted to explore more of our historical heritage. When I arrived, the first thing we did was visit Registan's courtyard, which is absolutely breathtaking, and the intricate blue tiles of the Madrasah looked even more stunning in real life than in pictures. We also explored Shah-i-Zinda, a long corridor of mausoleums decorated with beautiful turquoise mosaics. Apart from sightseeing, we enjoyed traditional dishes like plov and shashlik in local restaurants in the evening. We walked around the city center, which was beautiful, lit up, and full of lovely music. This holiday is memorable to me for two reasons. Firstly, it was the first time I truly appreciated the history and architecture of my home country. Secondly, I got to spend uninterrupted time with my family away from schoolwork and daily routine.
