Thank you. So a memorable teacher for from my life is Mr. Michael who I met in my elementary school. When I was in my 10th grade, we had a new teacher. His name was Michael and he was a teacher of maths. Before this class, I used to hate maths. Like the concepts were so abstract and some of the proofs were just dependent on memorization and I was always thinking that why should we memorize? However, when Michael came and taught maths, I fell in love with maths which ultimately helped me to pursue a career in engineering. I think my current role as an engineer is largely dependent on the love of maths which was generated from this teacher’s class. The reason I fell in love with maths was because of him. Previous to this grade, all the maths concepts seemed so abstract and I thought that maths was all about memorizing. But when he arrived, he used to taught us using visualizations. The abstract concepts of maths were made so easy for me. He always tried to help the weak students as well as the outperforming students who do not have a strong background in maths. He used to take special care of them and he always loved to take feedback from his students. Whatever topic that he is teaching is that difficult for the students or is it already known to them? If it’s particularly difficult, then he had taken extra measures to help me understand that concept. As well as, I would like to say that he inspired me by giving insights into the life story of different mathematicians like Ramanu Jaan and how he developed different theories, how he connected different areas of maths. The weak always were taking extra classes in his class.
