The most recent movie I’ve watched was Scream, the 7th installment in the series. This is a sequel that falls within the genres of mystery, horror and murder. The movie itself portrays a figure, either a man or a woman, depending on the occasion, wearing a black outfit and a mask of a murderer armed with a knife or any other object that comes in handy in this situation, it is conditional. This character uses them to eliminate their victims. Basically this movie has become a sort of a family tradition for us. Every time a new part comes out, we all go to the cinema together just to watch it. We enjoy it very much as it fits our family’s movie standards since we all film enthusiasts. However, the specific set I wasn’t quite satisfied with the movie and even disempounted due to the underdevelopment of the plot. Just when I thought the calamity was about to start and the interesting part was just now around the corner, it turned out that it was the entire movie. It felt more like an introduction to the murder and plot solving rather than the scary scenes themselves. I wanted more action, more mystery and more enigmas. I wished it to be like a quest, something that we would have to solve an inscrutable mystery together with the other characters present. But in reality it wasn’t as amusing or interesting as I had anticipated. Even though the time spent with my family was nice and I really enjoyed the time being, I really appreciate that. I would consider my movie choices if I went there next time and I wouldn’t advise watching this movie to a friend if they asked for movie recommendation, though the other parts were more interesting and I enjoyed them very much.
