One law that was newly introduced to our curriculum was the HEMIS system. It was acquired about two years ago. At the time, I was a first-year university student, and our tutor suddenly informed us. Our university started to implement a new system, and it was a credit model. It was a completely new curriculum for us because it was not only new for students but also for teachers as well. That's why, at the initial stages, we had to learn every single detail deeply. Despite this, we started to adapt effectively. If I say a little bit about that system, it was focused on encouraging students to try harder and work throughout the year. It was not only based on final exams but also on continuous evaluations. Furthermore, if students cannot pass to the next semester, it means they have to pay extra tuition to the university, which adds extra pressure for students. That's why, if I had a chance, I would like to make it more accessible for everyone. It is difficult for some families or students to pay extra money to the university. Sometimes, some students cannot attend classes in order to earn enough money for themselves. It also affects their subsequent study sessions as well.

That’s why at the initial stages we had to learn deeply every single details. But despite this we started to effectively. If I say a little bit about that system, it was focused on to push the students to try harder and work on throughout the year. Because it was not only based on your final exams but also your evaluations. And furthermore, if the students cannot pass the next semester, it means they have to pay extra tuition to the university which added extra pressure for students. That’s why if I have a chance I would match it to become more accessible for everyone. Because it is somehow difficult for some families or for some students to pay extra money to the university. Even sometimes some students cannot come to study in order to earn enough money for them. It also affects their next study sessions as well.
