Hello, newly introduced at my university was HEMIS. It is an educational system that was applied about two years ago. At the time, I was in my first year at the university, and suddenly our tutor informed us about it. It was not only a new system for students but also for teachers. That's why we had to learn deeply through video tutorials and brochures. I even attended several lectures to understand it better. If I say a little bit about that new curriculum, on the one hand, it was quite beneficial for students because it encouraged them to try harder and work throughout the year rather than rely solely on the final exam. In the conventional method of evaluation, many students only studied to pass the exams, but in this new system, they cannot do this because the teachers mainly rely on the students' performance throughout the year by evaluating their group projects, attendance, and similar activities. On the other hand, it can be somewhat harmful to students' budgets because if they cannot manage to pass the next semester, they have to pay extra tuition fees, which adds pressure to their families, especially if they come from poorer backgrounds. In some cases, to pay that extra tuition, they had to take on extra work.
