I would like to talk about my friend Shopon who comes from Chakma community lives in Chitagong, Bangladesh. It’s a hilly district in Bangladesh and though we are from same country, we have different cultural background, different language and different religion. That’s it. And I first started know shop on when we are in same study group and what I found about him is he is so friendly and so positive minded person and he loves to share his cultural background with us like his Biju festival and New Year festival and how they prepare themselves for those festivals like cleaning home, make some different traditional foods and so on. And he brought us for bamboo chicken, sticky rice, etc. And I also like to share my my culture like Durga Puja and Pahila Bhushak with him and he became so fascinated to know about my culture and I really appreciate it. What makes him more beautiful is that he has a calm and beautiful mind and I love to know about his culture more, his language. I am learning today and despite our different traditions, we became so close to each other like to share our feelings and experiences with each other and I think I am lucky to find him as a friend and I really respect him for his honesty and for his good soul.
