Well, the person that I am going to tell you about is David Goggins. A person who has overcome every challenge that all human beings face in their childhood, teenage years, and adulthood. About a year ago, when I was struggling to complete my homework for my English and math courses, my dad recommended that I read his book, which is called Can't Hurt Me. I read it thoroughly, and I was amazed. I was even frightened by what he had experienced in his childhood. In the book, it says he faced a lot of challenges. He had a difficult childhood; his dad was very strict and never let him enjoy anything or have fun. His mother was very caring, but he rarely saw her because his dad always forced him to work in a skate rink. This person is now 51 years old, and the things I will tell you about him will amaze you. Even though he's 51 years old, he runs 10 miles every day and trains consistently. What inspires me is that no matter what challenge he faced, he overcame it and serves as an example to every kid in the world who has a challenge. I always follow him, and his only purpose is to motivate others to push through their struggles.
