Talking about one particular advice that I have recently received actually was from one of the supervisors or colleague I would like to say as I am working as a research assistant in the same university. So he gave me the advice to use the citations for the different research purpose. In the past, I used to do my research by using different websites and mainly the Chantepiti, which was not very reliable and due to the plagiarism issues and university doesn’t really up to accept that research and it was a real time of difficulties for me and one of two or three months ago I bumped into the supervisor and he suggests me to use the one of the citations app and different other apps to do the paraphrasing as well as to do different types of of graphs and preparing the reports, writing the writer’s name. It really helped me a lot to build up my future also. And I have been climbing the ladder of career, career of ladder now. And in the beginning, I don’t even know what research was. And since I started, I started at an entry level and never having worked as a research associate was really hard time for me. But the piece of advice I have received from this particular supervisor gave me so much motivation as well as confidence. For instance, I have recently done research on urbanization and waste management in here in Kathmandu, Bali, and it gets published in magazines. Because of the help from my supervisor, I am able to do such renowned work for my country and for my people. So I think this one particular piece of advice completely changed my perspective. There are people who can’t stand someone’s success and don’t appreciate it. Usually what from my side it was a real blessing to have such supervisor in my life.
