I live in a small district, and there are not many zoos or wildlife centers where people can go to see wildlife. But there is a famous zoo called the National Zoo of Bangladesh. It's located in Haga, and it's approximately five hours from my hometown. I visited the zoo when I was in the 10th standard. I remember seeing many wild animals like lions, tigers, elephants, bears, reptiles, and birds there. There is a section for reptiles that has many snakes, crocodiles, and turtles. There is a large aviary for birds. The most exciting part was the lion safari. We had the chance to see the king of the animal kingdom. The zoo has a very interesting view of nature. We also spotted jackals, cranes, and barking deer during the safari. There is also a guide who mentioned that this zoo has many endangered species, and some are critically endangered. The zoo has a museum where we learned that many species in Bangladesh have gone extinct due to human actions. Some of my friends are really angry and talk about how our selfish actions have led to the death of so many animals.
