Well, that's an interesting question. I've always loved to travel and since my childhood, I've dreamed of visiting Nepal. Due to various circumstances, I couldn't make it for a long time. However, I finally managed to plan a trip there. One month ago, with my family members, we rented a private car and set off on our journey. The weather was pleasant in the initial moments. However, when we were barely 25 kilometers away from Gorkha, we took a sharp turn, and the sky became overcast, and it began raining heavily. Our driver pulled over to take shelter at a roadside restaurant, and we waited there until the rain stopped completely. I think it was already 8:00 in the evening when we arrived at our destination. So, instead of visiting the place, we decided to check into a hotel for the night. The next morning, after having breakfast, we headed for Gorkha Durbar Square. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a beautiful garden. Inside the palace, we saw stunning flowers, cannons, and bombs that were used by the kings to defend the nation. After admiring the photos and portraits of brave soldiers, we decided to have lunch. After lunch, we visited the Manakamana Temple, a popular pilgrimage site on the hilltop. We reached there by cable car, which was a unique and enjoyable experience. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati and it also offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. In the evening, we visited the Gorkha Museum, which was well-constructed and informative, providing a fascinating glimpse into Gorkha's past. After visiting the museum, we decided to have dinner at a local restaurant serving authentic Nepali cuisine. The food was flavorful and fresh, and we decided that it was the best way to end our journey. Overall, my trip to Gorkha was the most memorable journey of my entire life, and I got an opportunity to learn about Nepal's history and culture. This journey has led me to develop a deep appreciation for this beautiful country.
