Last year my friends and I decided to visit Tashkin, the capital of Uzbekistan. It was the trip we had been planning for months and we were really excited to explore the city together. One of the first places we visited was Amir Timur Square, which is a major landmark in Tashkin. It is large open space with a beautiful stage of Amir Timur in the center surrounded by impressive buildings and well maintained gardens. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed and we spent a lot of time taking photos and chatting. We also had the chance to learn more about the history of Amir Timur. It was a famous historical feature, it was not only a great place to hang out but also a place where we could appreciate the culture and history of the city. In the evening we went to Charso Bother, a bustling market that’s full of life. It was so interesting to see all the different stalls selling everything from fresh-freeze to traditional Uzbek fabrics. The energy was infectious and we couldn’t resist trying the local food. We had plow, which is a traditional Uzbek dish and sometimes a kind of pasta filled with meat. What made the trip so special was spending quality time with my friends. We had so much fun discovering new places, enjoying great food and sharing love. There was no rush so we could truly appreciate the moments we spent together. It was one of those trips where everything just seemed to fall into place and I’m really grateful to have had that experience with such good company.
