Being noise pollution and inevitable part of our life, I’ve been to many noisy places. I suppose the reason behind this terrible disaster is the incessant roar of cars in the street, as well as the perpetual noise of industry machines. The noisy place I’m going to talk about is my neighborhood. A religious function called Goron Besar was held in my neighbor’s house about one week ago. In such functions, people read the Quran in praise of God. This event started from 8pm and went off to about 11 o’clock at night. Due to the racket, I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t sleep, so closing the window didn’t make any difference. Even so, I put earplugs and it didn’t work either. I think these people do not abide by rules in the name of religion. I suppose laws for noises must be implemented more strictly and the use of pressure horns must be restricted additionally. Loud noises have bad effects not only on our physical health but also on mental health. It can lead to diseases like anxiety, depression, hearing impairment, and also hearing impairment.
