In this contemporary world, air pollution is rising day by day. Unfortunately, India is one of the most polluted countries in the world. I'd like to talk about a place I visited where the air was polluted. Last year, after Diwali, we visited our relatives to exchange sweets and gifts. We were unable to visit them before due to some reasons, so we decided to visit them after the festival. As my relatives live in a big city, there are a plethora of cars and their owners. Almost everyone has their own private vehicle. It was due to the large-scale use of vehicles that the city was so polluted. It was also because we visited just after Diwali, the festival where people burn crackers. The air was contaminated at high levels. As soon as we entered the city, I could feel the pollution and it was making it hard for me to breathe. I just wanted to escape from the city. But we had to stay as we were there to visit our relatives, whom we hadn't seen in a long time. The city was very polluted. I felt very frustrated and suffocated on the roads. In a nutshell, I can say this city was heavily contaminated with a high level of air pollution. In the future, I would avoid visiting this city whenever I can.
