Well, a very air polluted place I recently visited was Kathmandu. I went there during the spring season to my friend farewell who was living for Australia for higher studies. In context of my country, I feel like spring is typically when the air pollution arises the most and other significant factors like a vehicular and industrial emissions along with construction sites add more to it. We went three days prior to her flight date because we wanted to make core memories and explore the city before she left. Unfortunately, we could not do any of it because of the weather and the environment there. I vividly remember the days being hazy, cloudy, gloomy despite being very hot and humid. We all had burning eyes which were very itchy and we also had sore throat. Later, we even had to consult a doctor who prescribed us eye drops because our eyes were too dry. At that time, I felt a sense of concern and unease for the residents living there who had to face and endure such conditions regularly. I think the government should put these things into consideration and do something about the air pollution and implement stricter laws and rules to minimize the polluted city, to minimize the pollution. We could not enjoy our stay there at all because of the polluted air. It felt like we were always suffocating and waiting for sick. It felt like we were waiting to get sick. Thank you.
