Now I am going to share my thoughts and experience on this place, about this place. I visited Dhaka a couple of years ago when I went there to attend a friend’s wedding. Honestly, I was quite excited before the trip because I had heard a lot about the city’s vibrant culture and delicious street food. However, at the moment I arrived, I realized that the air quality left much to be desired. The reason the air was not good was the heavy traffic and ongoing constructions everywhere to make matter roads. I noticed that the thick layer of dust on the road seems to be a consistent haze hanging in the air. Breathing felt uncomfortable and suffocated and I was feeling suffocated while I faced a busy traffic. It is really disappointing. Despite that, Dhaka has its own charm, especially the biryani and the delicious street food. But the polluted air took the shine of the experience while I appreciate the culture and hospitality of Dhaka. The polluted air made the trip less present. It made me realize that the importance of clean air.
