She kept to herself and avoided social interaction. However, as time went by, I realized that I couldn’t have been more wrong. It turned out that she is one of the most supportive and forward-thinking people I have ever met. She is incredibly goal oriented and always has a clear roadmap for her future. I often saw her talking to herself and mapping out her short term and long term goals, ranging from studying abroad to building a successful work career. And when it comes to academic planning, she is second to none. And thanks to her, I learned how to manage my time effectively and stay on top of my coursework. Whenever I felt overwhelmed, she helped me reduce my stress, think about goals and others. And she always has plans for her future, because she believes that failing to plan is planning to fail.
