A positive change in my life happened at a very early age. This was probably during my school days, specifically in terms of my eating habits. I vividly remember being hospitalized when I was in grade 9 due to my poor eating habits. I was in a feeding frenzy when it came to eating junk food, oily food, and all sorts of fast foods. After being hospitalized for a week and missing out on my birthday, I realized that I had to drastically work on my eating habits. I had to be very careful with what I put inside my mouth because that would ultimately reflect on my health. The very next day after being discharged, I stopped consuming junk food and only ate home-cooked meals. I followed this practice religiously for the next 7-8 years of my life until I allowed myself my first cheat meal. By then, a lot of changes had occurred in my body. I noticed that I was performing better, looking better, feeling better, and thinking better. I could also see physical changes in my body. I was very lanky and short, but within 2 years, my height spurted up, I put on some muscle, and I haven't fallen sick ever since that day.
