I would like to talk about the prize I won attending an english competition held at my university last year. I decided to participate in this contest because I was confident in my english skills and I was sure that I could win a prize. I don’t remember well but there were three rounds and about 20 participants and with each round people, uh, were eliminated, usually for making grammatical mistakes. Um, by the end of third round there were only three people left and we were about to go the last fourth round to determine the winners who will be the first, second and third. And I was one of these three people. Uh, I felt somewhat nervous because I was not prepared for this competition well, um, but I took the second place and I won a power bank. I was really pleased with that. I still use it and I’m really happy I participated in this kind of contest. Took a risk without, uh, preparing for it. Well.
