During my university third year, there was a project that we had to do concerning healthcare and we decided to make a project where AI was being used to assist healthcare workers in medical imaging system. In this project I was working with two of my friends who have tremendous need to achieve the goals of the project that was set. So basically the idea of the project was to use AI tools to enhance the quality of the the x-ray images and then use machine learning models to diagnose the diseases based on the x-ray. It was a very time consuming project since I had to visit the public hospital to with the videologist who provided me with the samples of X-rays along with the diagnosis which we then compared with our own AI model to see how accurate our system was. This project was a real eye-opener for us since we got to know how AI in the coming years could be useful in healthcare system as well as how it can really assist you to perform your work tasks as well like our system could be used by radiologists to see to validate their diagnosis so overall it was a very good learning experience since we got to know about the applications of AI in that year.
