While the bounds and limits of this rule are subject to debate and discussions, in general, sexual harassment entails a practice in which statements or actions unwanted are expressed to the members of the opposite or the same sex. In an environment that I work, which is a school, where adults meet and relate with children and amongst themselves, I think this rule is of paramount importance because it protects children from pivots and also protects both men and women from members of the opposite sex who are out of order. I think this law is very important because it protects the work environment, therefore making it a safe place for people, for children in particular, and to make sure that their main business is not distracted. Additionally, it entails that all the workers, they enjoy a stress-free environment where they can express themselves freely and act according to their convictions and their beliefs. However, there are times where wrong convictions can arise because of lack of proper investigations. And I think that in the enforcement of this law, authorities are supposed to investigate thoroughly. And also, it might be important that all the employees are educated, especially on the hidden aspects of the law, where certain expressions or actions can easily be interpreted and amounts to sexual harassment without the knowledge of the perpetrators.
