The skill that was difficult for me to learn is writing, especially essay writing. I needed to learn it in order to pass my IELTS test. What made it difficult was being able to express the demands of the questions adequately and varying my vocabulary in a way that addresses the topic in question. Some of the things I do to help me learn or to get better whenever I write an essay is reading sample essays that have been written on various topics, looking at how transitions are made from one point to another and how the writer has varied the lexicon used. I hope that by the end of this week, I will have mastered this writing skill.
