A skill that I have learned not from formal education but from observation and practice is teaching. It started in 2017 when I needed a source of income to become financially independent. The only option I had at the time was teaching. Of course in the beginning it was really hard. I needed to work with kids and I needed to know how to teach nor how to deal with little human beings. Yet I was featured with persistence, hard work, tolerance, acceptance and many other traits that helped me to go on and not to give up. I was lucky in 2020 to work under the supervision of an embracing teacher. He guided me step by step and showed me how to treat kids and how to treat the subject itself and how to communicate it to the students. In addition, he taught me some soft skills like communication with parents and dealing with the administration at the school and making, you know, meetings, leading meetings, all of those skills helped me now to become a great teacher and it turned out to be a very useful skill because it’s my major source of income currently and most importantly I found my passion in this skin.
