Once the skill I learned relatively late in life is public speaking for a long time I used to feel really nervous whenever I had to speak in front of public but I realized that effective communication is essential for success especially in my career so I decided to improve this skill. I started by watching videos of great speakers and practicing daily in front of a mirror At first it was difficult to cope with the stage fear but I kept going and tried to speak confidently. Even if I made a mistake it took me around 6 months to feel comfortable while speaking to an audience. I wanted to learn this skill because I knew it would boost my confidence and help me express my ideas clearly. Now whenever I speak in public I feel proud of how much I have improved.
