When I was young, I started learning English with my first teacher in school. My English level wasn't really good. But when I became a teen, I understood that it would be a good experience to learn languages and speak fluently. The most challenging aspect for me was the language barrier. To prevent this and to continue speaking and developing my language skills, I practiced a lot with my tutor and by myself at home. The things that made me feel better were films. I listened to a lot of podcasts and series, and it was a big part of my practice. This topic is really significant to me because, as we say in my country, the more languages you know, the more you are a person. If you know a language, you can understand yourself and the people around you.
