It was the Wimbledon final, and the intensity was captivating. The players moved so gracefully yet powerfully across the court, and I could see how they had to think several steps ahead to outsmart their opponent. I was a special draw to how a shot can completely change the pace of game. What makes me really want to try tennis is the combination of physical and mental skills involved. From what I’ve seen, tennis requires a high level of concentration as well as quick decision making, which I think would be an exciting challenge. Plus, it looks like great workout. I imagine that learning that basics might be a bit tough at first, uh, especially, um, the serve. But it’s a challenge I’d love to take on. Also, I think tennis would be perfect sport to play with friends, especially on weekends, as a fun way to stay active.
