The story is about a group of farm animals that decided to take control of the farm because they are tired of being treated unfairly by the farmers. At first they hoped to create a society where everyone is equal, but as time passes, the pigs become greedy and start behaving just like the humans they replace in the end, or the other animals realize that nothing has really changed. The books include many different animals, such as pigs, horses, sheep, chickens and a donkey. Each animal represents a different type of human or group in society. For example, the pigs are intelligent and become power hungry while the horse boxer is hardworking, loyal and always feeling to help others. I read this book during my university years because my teacher recommended it. And at first I thought it was just a simple story about animals, but I soon realized that it has a much deeper meaning and it teaches readers about powers, leadership and how people can be influenced by propaganda. I think it is an eye-opening and a volu-ritim book. Also, it is quite short, it leaves a lasting impression and makes reader think about society in different perspective. I would recommend it to anyone because it is both interesting and meaningful.
