One technological device that I find useful is a washing machine. It's an automated device that does chores, which I use roughly 2 to 3 times a week. I learned how to use it through the manual when I participated. So it's a little bit of a DIY, do-it-yourself format. The reason I find it useful is that I'm able to handle a large amount of laundry, which frees up time for other activities, like assignments or projects that I brought home or leftover work. Nonetheless, it does a lot of tasks for me. I find that I get more joy from using the washing machine than I do from, say, my watch or my TV.
