Language plays an important role in our daily life. It is essential to learn different languages to sustain in our life. One language that stands out in my mind is Tamil. During my college days in Visat Ankamali, as part of my MBA education, I had an opportunity to visit Chennai for a two-month internship. It was a time when I really struggled to learn the Tamil language. I was a beginner in this language. It was a challenge for me to learn this language, and I chose different methods to gain proficiency in this new subject. I took various applications on my phone, and most importantly, I downloaded the Duolingo app to help me attain knowledge regarding this particular language. These applications helped me to get overall feedback. Through various interactive sections, games, puzzles, video calls, and chats, I was able to improve my language skills in Tamil, as it was a new language for me with many speakers. At first, it was very difficult and tiring to learn this language, but later on, I was able to grasp knowledge through different films that I watched on YouTube. I also had conversations with my friends in Chennai and was able to speak well day by day. Through practice, I could grasp this knowledge and apply it in my life.
