My mom used to give me a ride to my school because it was quite far away from me about an hour by subway. So during the 10th grade about two years ago there was a late spring morning we were on our way to my school and our car suddenly broke down in the traffic jam. There was a vapor coming under our hood and we were extremely stressed because we didn’t know what happened. We couldn’t go… We couldn’t continue our ride because my mom was afraid that the car would just stop in the middle of the road and we wouldn’t be able to repair it at all. That’s how serious it looked like. As a result, we had to wait for another driver to help to transfer our car to another repair shop. turns out that the problem was with a carburetor. It got overheated during the traffic jam because the car worked constantly, generated a lot of heat and energy and the morning was quite hot because like I said it was a spring late morning. As a result the water that somehow got stuck in this carburetor started vaporizing and we saw that white smoke coming out of our hood. The problem got solved quite easily and we didn’t pay much. However, we were both extremely stressed and I was late for school and my mom was late for work. I think that from that moment I started travelling mostly by subway because turns out it was even faster.
