Teamwork is essential for success. However, I'd like to tell you about a time when someone had an eye-catching performance on a team. I vividly remember when I was studying at the intermediate level, our college started a speaking competition based on class. Every class had students who joined this competition, including my class. In my class, including myself, three of my friends were selected as candidates for this competition. From my perspective, I wasn't very good at public speaking, and I didn't know how well the other students spoke English. But on the day of the competition, when we started our speeches, I gave a fairly standard speech, which wasn't very good. My other two friends didn't do particularly well either. They were speaking, but my friend Raib, who I didn't expect much from, delivered a speech at a significantly advanced level. His speech was significantly improved and boosted our overall result. When the results came out, we were shocked because we had come in first place in the competition. I think it was because of Raib's performance. He really stepped up and made a huge difference for our team.
