At first, everyone in the building was quite worried because the wind was very strong and the sound hours was really loud. I lived in an apartment complex, so the hallway was considered the safest place during the storm. Most of the residents came out of their apartments and got a lot of fare. During that time, we used our phone for a slice to light up the hallway. People were talking to each other, checking if anyone needed help, and sharing snacks or bottle-dough butter. Even though the situation was stressful, it somehow brought everyone closer together. I ended up chatting with neighbors I had never spoken to before. Honestly, I felt scared at first because it was sudden like I was combined with the storm, made everything feel uncertain. However, seeing everyone come together made me feel much safer.
