By the time I arrived the doors were closed and I was refused entry for being late. I was devastated and spent days replying the incident in my mind. However, that incident became a blessing in disguise instead of giving up. I started again and prepared even harder over an hour than the next 3 months. Every practice test and mistakes brought me closer to my goal. When I retook the SAT I arrived early, stayed calm and did my best. A few weeks later I received a score beyond my expectations. I passed with flying colors and the experience taught me that perseverance and resilience can turn setbacks into success.
