I like to talk about a reason and very enjoyable visit I made to my cousin’s house. The family member I visited is my cousin Rani. She lives with her husband and their adorable 1 year old son in a lovely residential area in Pleju. Their house isn’t too far from my home but it’s in a much quieter and greener neighborhood which always makes it a nice escape. The main reason for my visit was actually quite simple. I had been feeling a bit stressed with work and daily routines and I really missed spending time with them, especially my little nephew. I hadn’t seen him for a few weeks and I was eager to see how much he had grown and just to enjoy their company. So I decided on a whim to take a weekend trip to their home. When I arrived, my nephew was super excited and immediately dragged me to the living room to see his new toy cars. So a big part of the visit was just me playing with him on the floor. We built restrikes out of blocks and had little car races. He has so much energy and his laughter is just contagious. Later in the afternoon when the weather was cooler, we all decided to go for a walk around their housing complex. It was a very relaxed stroll. We walk along the quiet streets and my nephew was pointing at every cat and flower he saw. We even stopped at a small local food stall to buy some traditional snacks and continued chatting and eating while we walk back home. The evening ended with a delicious homemade dinner that my cousin prepared. Honestly, what I enjoy the most about this visit was the overall feeling of warmth and simplicity. Firstly, the pure joy and innocence of my nephew were incredibly refreshing. Secondly, I really cherished the quality time with my cousin, the walk we took was so peaceful, it wasn’t about doing anything extra up again, but just about being together, having a so-called and enjoying each other’s presence.
