I would like to talk about a time when I had to rely on my own instincts rather than the advice of others. It happened a few months ago when I was looking for an English course to improve my speaking in this field. Some of my friends advised me to join a particular coaching center because they had a good experience there and they were quite satisfied with it. However, when I visited the center, I did not really feel comfortable there. The classes seemed crowded, and I thought that I would not get enough opportunity to practice speaking. Although my friends strongly recommended it, I decided to trust my own instincts and chose another course that was a little more expensive but had smaller classes and more opportunities for speaking practice. To be honest, I was a bit worried at first because I was going against my friends' advice. But my decision turned out to be a good one. The teachers were very supportive, and I got plenty of chances to speak and receive feedback. Gradually, I became more confident in my English. Looking at the result, I believe my instinct was correct. My friends gave me advice based on their own experience, but I understood my own needs better.
