I have this friend who has a wife and a child. One time, they had a fight, and the wife decided to never let my friend see his baby again. My friend, who is a very loving person, was drunk for one week straight, showing his emotions, saying he loved her and did everything he could to save the relationship. However, my friend's wife was very persistent, claiming that he didn't love them and didn't care for their child. I spoke with my friend, telling him it was okay and that it would settle down; he just needed to give it time. After a few weeks, the two started speaking again. This situation showed me that sometimes you can tackle problems directly, but you can also set them aside and be patient, waiting for the right timing. It can work out, and I think that applies to everyone.
