I would like to talk about when I helped my mom in a significant way because usually my mom doesn't need my help or advice. She is one of the smartest people I have ever met. But one day, my mom became ill, and we didn't notice it. My mom doesn't complain about her illness. She is the kind of person who doesn't express how she feels to others. She always hides her feelings inside because she doesn't want to worry anyone. One day, my mom was doing the washing up, and she was breathing deeply and heavily. When I tried to take the dishes from her hand, she insisted, saying, 'No, I can do it. You should focus on your academic life.' I felt really stuck in that moment. I told her, 'Mom, I can help with this. Please let me assist you.' After helping her, I felt relieved and grateful that I could support her when she needed it.
