During my college days, I was once tasked with overseeing the celebration of annual Christmas festival. You see, as an introvert individual who tends to avoid social interactions as much as possible, this task was quite challenging for me as I had to facilitate the gathering of people which I tend to avoid typically. However, the seniors approached me with the request as they saw some kind of leadership potential in me. I did not resist the request and I decided to comply with it. I initially ensured that I had a strict plan and ensured that everything went alone with the plan devised by me. Although I did not take into consideration other people’s opinions or advices, I did receive positive feedbacks after the event was ended. I did not personally partake in the event as, like I said before, that’s not my cup of tea. I ensured that it was well organized and soon after finishing my job, I stayed away and started prioritizing my personal self-improvement activities. So, just participating was more than enough for me.
