I'd like to talk about an event I organized for my mother's 50th birthday. It was a surprise party. I organized it with the help of a few friends. Initially, I got in touch with my relatives and friends and kept it under wraps so it would be a surprise for my mother. The hardest part of this event was the cooking as I am not a great cook, but I gave it my best shot and prepared some favorite dishes of my mother like masala paneer, rice pudding, and some other sweets. I also ordered a cake with my mother's name on it, and I decorated the lobby with balloons, her favorite flowers, and fairy lights. In the evening when she came, we all shouted 'Surprise!' She was over the moon, and her smile was the icing on the cake for me. We celebrated her party with cake, took many photographs, and played games. We also watched the movie of our marriage together, and it was a really memorable moment for her and for me as well. Looking back, it taught me that memorable moments don't need expensive gifts or lavish celebrations; they only need time and effort.
