Well, I recall a time when I inadvertently watched a short video and it turned out not to be true. The video was about drinking coffee. It claimed that drinking coffee could permanently damage our brains and that many doctors didn't recommend it. I saw it when I was scrolling through social media. I would rather watch guidance or valuable information than podcasts about daily life or celebrities because I find it more educational and fascinating. At first I believed it because drinking coffee keeps us awake and I am often forced to stay up late. However, later I searched for information on reliable websites and found out that there was no scientific or forensic evidence supporting that claim. It was just clickbait. In addition, many years ago I had heard that drinking coffee is one of the most invigorating and healthy drinks which was presented on TV by professional doctors. I felt surprised and what makes it quite disappointing is that the video had already been shared among people. Since then, I have always checked reliable sources before believing information online. It made me realize the importance of identifying fake news because exaggerated information can influence our daily lives. Additionally, I always enjoy drinking coffee in the morning to boost my energy, stay active, and relieve stress. And starting my day with coffee is well. The short video taught me to verify information before believing it and how unreliable social media can sometimes be.
