Well, I would like to talk about a rather unprecedented moment that completely shocked me when I first heard that everything was going to be shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Regarding the source of this news, I vividly remember coming across it during the early 2020s in the newspaper. Besides, my social media feeds were completely flooded with this news, and everyone around me was talking about it intensely. The news stated that the government had declared a complete shutdown. Schools, universities, shopping malls, public transport, offices, virtually everything was going to be shut down indefinitely. On top of that, people were being instructed to quarantine themselves and maintain social distancing strictly. Honestly, it felt absolutely surreal to me. I mean, the idea that the world could come to a standstill felt like something out of fiction movies. I generally thought it was some sort of misinformation spreading through social media, which, to be fair, was rampant at the time. I felt a strange mixture of anxiety, disbelief, and confusion. There was a certain sense of apprehension about the future. Gradually, when the actual topic started becoming clear to me, I realized that it was a genuine global crisis that was reshaping our lives. Looking back, that moment was truly a turning point in our lives, a heart-wrenching reminder of how vulnerable and helpless we are in society and how quickly life can change overnight.
