When I was in my first year of high school, I started using a cell phone. I needed it because I lived far away from my mom and wanted to stay in touch with her. It was easy to use because it was a keypad phone, and I quickly learned how to make calls and send text messages. It was incredibly helpful to have a way to communicate with my mom, especially when I needed something or just wanted to chat. It gave me a sense of independence and security knowing I could reach her whenever I needed to.
