I'm not always the most punctual person, but I always try to be. Whether it's meeting up with friends or family, I strive to be on time. However, sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. I'd like to tell you about a time when I was late for an event, my cousin's wedding. I vividly remember last summer vacation, my friend and I were on our way to the wedding venue. As we were driving, we came across a petrol pump. A husband and wife were filling up their scooter when suddenly, the scooter was hit by another vehicle. The scooter was thrown off balance, and the woman fell to the ground. We immediately pulled over and rushed to help. The woman was badly injured, with blood streaming down her face. Her husband was understandably distraught and worried. We got the husband's contact information and called the emergency number, 331, which is a government-run ambulance service. Within 15 minutes, the ambulance arrived and took the woman to the nearest hospital. We also contacted the woman's relatives and informed them of the situation. We stayed with the husband until he was able to reach the hospital. It was a terrible situation, and I was devastated that I missed my cousin's wedding. I called her immediately and explained what had happened.
