Well, I'd like to share with you a time that I was late for an appointment with my family doctor. It all happened about three months ago. I had an appointment with him at around 3:00 p.m., and I booked the appointment a week in advance. I was quite familiar with the route from my office to the clinic, which was about a 15-minute drive, so I left my office at around 2:40 p.m. Everything went pretty well initially, but then something went wrong. Five minutes before I arrived at the clinic, I was stuck in a traffic jam caused by road construction. What was ridiculous was that there was no reminder on my navigation app. Seeing that, I was quite panicked, to be honest with you, because I was worried that I might miss the important appointment with my family doctor. And if I missed that appointment, I would have to rebook it, which might take about another week. So I immediately called the reception and told them that I was stuck in a traffic jam, and I asked if my doctor could wait for me for about ten minutes. They showed sympathy for my situation and agreed to wait for me. I finally got there, and luckily, I was able to meet my family doctor.
