I’d like to talk about the time when I had to change my plan which happened about a few weeks ago. The original plan was to spend the whole weekend with my close friends at a resort outside the city. We had been planning this trip for several weeks because we really wanted to take a break from our studies and spend time in a natural environment. We were looking forward to taking lots of photos, enjoying fresh air, having a picnic and simply escaping the noise of the city. Unfortunately a couple of days before the trip we checked the weather forecast and found out that heavy rain and strong winds were expected throughout the entire weekend. And since everything we planned involved between outdoors, we realized that this trip wouldn’t be as enjoyable as we had imagined it. So after discussing it in our group chat, we all agreed that it would be better to postpone it. So instead we came up with new alternative plan. We decided to gather at one of my friend’s houses. We ordered some snacks, watched comedy movies, played board games and spent hours chatting and laughing. The atmosphere was so warm and relaxing that we completely forgot about the bad weather outside. At first, honestly, I was quite disappointed because I had really been excited about this trip. However, after spending time with my friends, I realized that the change was not such a bad thing. In fact, we had an amazing time and created wonderful memories. And this experience taught me that even unexpected changes can lead to equally enjoyable experiences. I also learned not to get to attach to a specific plan.
